We are pleased to announce that Donovan Slade has joined Pacific Urethanes as the Global Technology Lead for major CASE products and to drive our sustainable solutions to the market.

With over 30 years of experience in the polyurethane industry, Donovan brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to our team. Starting his career at 19, Donovan progressed from a National Sales Manager to a Technical Sales Director. He also served as CEO of a prominent manufacturing company specialising in CASE technology in South Africa.

Throughout his career, Donovan has successfully launched numerous divisions leveraging CASE technologies, specialising in polyurethane hot and cold cure elastomers, resins, coatings, linings, adhesives, sealants, PU spray, and polyurea. His technical prowess is complemented by a Master’s degree in Business Administration in logistics and supply chain management.

Donovan also holds multiple NACE/AMPP certifications in coating inspection and specification writing, demonstrating his deep understanding of protective coatings across various chemistries. His extensive background and innovative approach will drive our technical excellence and help our customers deliver superior products.

Donovan is passionate about sustainability in processes, formulations, and raw materials and looks forward to working for a company that highly values sustainable practices. This aligns with Pacific Urethanes’ purpose— ‘To change the Australian polyurethane industry with one sustainable formulation at a time.’
